Established in 2007, HSOBX is honored to be one of the longest standing secular and all-embracing co-ops in Hampton Roads! We offer classes in five age groups ranging from ages 3 to 18+. Class topics may vary per semester and are generated by our co-op families. From language arts, foreign languages, and electives, to history, math, and lab-based sciences- there is something for everyone!!

HSOBX's mission of inclusivity means that our co-op is welcoming of students, parents, and teachers with a variety of interests, educational needs, and backgrounds. Many of our teachers have degrees in education or related fields, certificates in their area of expertise, and a combined wealth of experience in homeschooling. HSOBX is lucky to have parents of our students who value learning and bring their expertise into the co-op through creative teaching methodologies.
